DPX car audio components

Japan-based Kenwood Corp has released the latest models in its DPX car audio series. These models, which adopt integrated 2-DIN designs, include the DPX-9000MJ MiniDisc (MD) changer and compact disc (CD) receiver with an FM multiplex system, and the DPX-8000MJ MD changer and CD receiver. These two models feature three-disc-plus-one MD changers and a new, sophisticated, digital-analog converter which performs 24-bit processing. Othr models include the DPX-7000MD and DPX-6000MD MD and CD receivers.

Aiwa Company Ltd's LCX-MD210 MiniDisc (MD) component system integrates a tuner, MD, compact disc (CD) and cassette players in a single 16 cm-wide unit. The component system is capable of performing several editing and recording functions, including simultaneous recording of music from CDs to MDs and cassettes. Its MD deck was also designed to record all music pieces from CDs to MDs.
