The features of the new digital video camera recorders/ camcorders by Sony Corp., is discussed. While the DCR-DVD403 digital camcorder directly captures 5.1-channel surround sound, the DCR-HC90 is equipped with a 4-channel microphone record function, which enables the creation of 5.1-channel surround digital versatile discs.
