Extending warranties' appeal

Article Abstract:

Extended warranty sales are important for consumer electronics retailers, particularly in the holiday selling season, and the execution of a warranty sale could spell trouble. Companies have various programs and follow-through strategies to increase extended warranty sales. The plans of companies for the fourth quarter of 2007 are presented.
