Growing use of security systems raises performance challenge

Article Abstract:

Closed-circuit TV (CCTV) systems and surveillance cameras are demonstrating their usefulness in areas other than crime prevention, disaster management and safety. The use of the products in areas involving the capture, storage and transfer of images for different information purposes has stimulated market expansion. The market is witnessing a shift to the adoption of remote monitoring cameras which are being used for purposes other than security such as evaluating sales performance of a merchandise. This indicates a potential for additional market expansion.
