ICD-376VPA color CCD camera
Article Abstract:
Ikegami Tushinki Company Ltd has introduced the ICD-376VPA color CCD camera. The product has varifocal lens and incorporates a hyper dynamic function for a dynamic range 166 times wider than the range of the company's conventional comparable cameras. The wide dynamic range stems from a 360,000-pixel progressive-scanning IT-CCD and state-of-the-art digital process circuitry. It features a horizontal resolution of 470 lines and a signal-to-noise ratio of 48dB.

VK-C878 dome camera

Hitachi Ltd has introduced the VK-C878 dome camera which has a double- speed progressive CCD sensor. The camera offers a wide dynamic range by capturing images of light subjects and dark subjects with exposures appropriate to each and then composing pictures with the two images. It has variable focal lenses, a built-in microphone and a digital outline compensation function. It sells for $1,552.

MItsubishi's C-4000, C-4050 color cameras

Mitsubishi Electric Corp's line of Car Vision Color Type C-4000 color cameras has made its market debut. The series of color cameras are comprised of two models, namely, the C-4000 and the C-4050.
