Toshiba Corp introduces a high-precision color LCD display unit that offers a QUXGA resolution with 3,200 x 2,400 dots. The product is capable of displaying A3 documents in their original dimensions. Also, it displays color images at 192ppi with a pixel pitch of 0.132 mm. The unit measures only 20.8 in, and has a depth of 113.5 mm. It is designed for displaying maps, satellite and aerial photographs, works of art, medical photographs, and drawings.

LTM10C386 10.4-inch UXGA display by Toshiba

Article Abstract:

Toshiba Corp's LTM10C386 10.4-inch thin-film transistor (TFT) liquid crystal display is among the first to offer UXGA-mode displays with 1,600 x 1,200 dots for B5 notebook computers. It was designed with 2 million or more pixels and provides brighter and better resolution because of its use of low-temperature polysilicon TFT. Its design specifications have been found to be suitable for displaying images from digital cameras.
