Article Abstract:

Japanese manufacturers of digital audio-video equipment are introducing new products, bolstering development programs and partnering with other companies in an effort to become global leaders. One sector that Japan will dominate is the digital video disc player market. Stable digital FPUs will stretch tranmission distances

Article Abstract:

TV broadcasters are shifting to digital field pick-up units (FPUs) as they migrate to digital technology. Digital FPUs offer several advantages over their analog counterparts, such as better stability and the ability to transmit images over longer distances. FPUs can also use various modulation systems such as quadrature phase shift keying and eight phase shift keying. FPUs that use the orthogonal frequency division multiplexing can transmit stable images even from under bridges.
