Kedcom STB-10000 receivers

Kedcom Company Ltd has developed the STB-10000 satellite receivers. Integrated with transponders with 2,000-channel memories, the product carry two slots for PCMCIA and common access methods and accept low-noise block input from 950 to 2,150MHz. they adopt a 1MB flash memory and 2MB DRAM and synchronous DRAM. Through the use of a digital common interface for Viacess and Irdeto, it adopts an RS-232C port as the data interface.

Striking out in new directions, Kedcom cultivates DVD players
Article Abstract:
Kedcom Company Ltd is mass-producing DVD players at its Ansan factory in Korea. The DVD player offers cost-effective features because the firm simplified its circuitry and deck mechanism. Kedcom has lined up four models of DVD players. It also plans to supply the Southeast Asian and Chinese markets with an integrated top-end model with karaoke functions. Kedcom is suplying standard models for the US and European markets.

Global Technologies GSR-1110 receivers
Article Abstract:
Global Technologies Inc has developed the GSR-1110 receiver that covers 2,000 radio and 2,000 TV channels from C- and Ku-band satellites. Users can designate two favorite channels. On-screen displays work in eight languages, with editing for TV and radio channels, channel name and transponder. The tuner handles PAL, SECAM and NTSC and Digital Satellite Equipment Control picture-in-graphic format.
