LE1870 DVD jitter meters

Leader Electronics Corp has developed the LE1870 DVD jitter meter which adopts the company's Time Interval Analyzer system for fully digital processing. The LE1870 offers three options, namely, an eight-to-fourteen modulation jitter meter for CDs, a variable equalizer and a bi-phase jitter meter for recordable CDs, that allow it to single-handedly perform a wide range of measuring functions. It measures jitters in three polarities, in two-signal and signal-to-signal modes.

Optional I2C bus analyzers
Article Abstract:
Yokogawa Electric Corp is including an option for an I2C bus analyzer on its DL1540CL digital oscilloscopes. The analyzer, which costs 150,000 yen, will permit the oscilloscope to analyze and display signal waveforms all by itself. Yokogawa's digital oscilloscope, which retails for 1.5 million yen with the bus analyzer option, can be programmed to pinpoint specific sites for waveform capture. These can then be displayed using the same screen.

LS-8107 programmable oscilloscopes
Article Abstract:
Leader Electronics Corp of Japan has introduced a new programmable oscilloscope in 1999. The new LS-8107 features a 100 MHz CRT readout, 100- step panel settings and stable triggering mechanisms. It works a 5 mV/division at 100 MHz or 1mV/division at 20MHz. It can perform delayed sweeps and line functions and allow atuomatic set up. Its error rates decrease to 2% for the vertical axis sensitivity.
