LVP-SA51 LC projector

Article Abstract:

Mitsubishi Electric Corp. has unveiled the LVP-SA51 portable LC projector that uses the company's Natural Color Matrix color reproduction system. The LVP-SA51 has a brightness of 1,000 lumens and a 0.9-in large-aperture LC panel and a 150W high-efficiency lamp. It has a digital zoom for amplifying the partial area of the screen up to 25 times the normal size and supports XGA resolutions. The LVP-SA51 has a retail price of 448,000 yen, or $4,187.

MP-400 projector

Article Abstract:

Nippon Avionics has introduced the MP-400 projector that delivers an output of 3,250 lumens through its 200W UHP lamp. The MP-400 has a 0.5-in color CCD camera with 2 million pixels and a 110-degree wide-angle lens. It uses a 1.3-in LCD panel with a micro-lens array for delivering XGA resolution. The MP-400 uses keystone compensation function for correcting picture distortion, and sells for 1.3 million yen, or $12,150.
