Article Abstract:

Matsushita Electric Industrial Co Ltd employs DVD-RAM discs as the recording media in its DVD video recorders. This is because the firm considers DVD-RAM best for integrating audio-video as well as personal computer technologies. Housed in a cartridge to protect it from dust and fingerprints, the device provides high capacity, fast search features, long life and other advantages that make it superior in Matsushita's opinion to rival technologies.
