Oversampling scaler sharpens details in Toshiba's LCD TVs

Article Abstract:

The 'beautiful face' televisions, 32L400V and 26L400V launched by Toshiba in 32V- inches and 26V- inches are, claimed as super high definition televisions by the company. The televisions incorporate a technology called oversampling scaler which converts high definition images to 6.22 million pixels and displays the images most suitable way for the panel size.

New line sensors aid crews and engineers

Article Abstract:

SensorLink Corp developed a hot-stick mounted anemometer called Ampstik to make the task of measuring instantaneous voltage, current and resistance safer for line crews and field technicians. On the other hand, GridCom International developed a low-cost in-line sensor.
