PST3 CMOS reset ICs

Article Abstract:

Mitsumi Electric Co Ltd's PST35XX and PST36XX CMOS system reset ICs have delay functions and provide plus or minus 2% precision in voltage detection. The PST35XX offers CMOS output, while the PST36XX is an N- channel, open-drain device. The products are compatible with the reset circuits of microcontrollers and microprocessor units for portable electronics. The ICs are available in SC-82ABA packages measuring 2.0 x 1.25 x 0.9mm, or in SOT-25A packages, and sell for $0.55.

UX4 0.13microm CMOS processes

Article Abstract:

NEC Corp's UX4 0.13 micrometer CMOS processes will permit device engineers to embed complete systems using only a single chip. The company's CMOS devices, which offers effective gate lenghts of 0.10micrometers, are cell- based ICs that are capable of extreme integration levels. NEC's CB-12 family of CMOS processes are capable of creating as many as 32 million gates while providing clock speeds higher than 450MHz.

LZOP3820 1/7-inch CMOS sensors

Article Abstract:

Sharp Corp has introduced the LZOP3820 1/7-inch CMOS image sensor which packs 1100,000 pixels. At 5mm, it is one of the thinnest CMOS image sensors. Its thin design makes it ideal for mobile phones, electronic mail terminals and other handheld mobile electronics. It works in the Common Image Format standard for moving-picture transmission. It can capture images at 30 frames per second. Samples sell for $28.
