Water-in-oil: forget ppm; think relative humidity

Article Abstract:

Measurement of relative humidity (RH) is a better method to measure dissolved water in transformer oil than the Karl Fischer reaction test. RH provides data about the water in oil and also the dryness of transformer insulation.

Portable hot-stick tester meets OSHA regulations

The LS-80 portable hot-stick tester makes hot-stick testing easy and fast. It is placed over the hot-stick shaft and measures the dielectric current between tandem electrodes contacting the stick.
