RX-MDX70 personal minidisc system

Article Abstract:

Matsushita Electric Industrial Co Ltd has introduced its RX-MDX70 personal MiniDisc system that incorporates a tuner and can play MDs, CDs and tape cassettes. The product has a large color display, where users can choose from 10 colors. It is equipped with a microphone input terminal, and is available in two colors, namely ivory and indigo. The main unit measures 21.9 x 39.0 x 16.5 cm. In addition, the system uses Harmonic Enhancer Sound technology, which produces sounds of singers or instruments.

DMC-M7R MiniDisc player

Article Abstract:

Kenwood Corp introduces its DMC-M7R portable MiniDisc (MD) player that provides MD long play functions. This means its allows up to 320 min of recording and playing from one MD. Priced at $418, the product also features a digital level control function that ensures a constant recording level as well as a digital anti-shock circuit that offers 30-sec of memory. In addition, the DMC-M7R provides a monaural double recording mode that allows for double-speed replaying.

PH-MD9 MiniDisc player

Article Abstract:

Sanyo Electric Co Ltd introduces its PH-MD9 MinidDisc (MD) radio-cassette player that features the MD long play mode. This mode allows up to 320 min of stereo recording and playing on an 80-min MD. The player has a function that enables double-speed dubbing from CD to MD by one touch of a button. Also, the product provides three bands and can receive television audio. Users can control the PH-MD9 from a personal computer through the use of a PC connection kit.
