Sony's Dual-RW DVD Recorder Emphasizes Playback Compatibility

Article Abstract:

Sony Corp. introduced a Dual RW-compatible DVD video recorder ( RDR-GX7). It can record on three kinds of DVD discs. Its circuitry design emphasizes high- quality picture input and output. Its electronic program guide makes it easy to record television programs. The input terminal allows easy editing. It can be used with a digital camcorder.

Sony's SXRD microdisplay meets 70 - inch RPTV challenge

The features of the new 70-inch Grand Wega Rear Projection television (RPTV) or KDS70XBR100 from the Sony Corp. are discussed. The RPTV comes for a price less than US $10,000 and has the Silicon X-Tal Reflective Display (SXRD) microdisplay technology.
