Matsushita Electric Industrial Company Ltd has unveiled a liquid crystal TV set that also features a DVD player. The TH-15DT2, part of the company's Tau series, integrates Matsushita's Artificially Intelligent Liquid Crystal system that controls the opening angle of the optical shutter. This function doubles the set's maximum intensity and brightens the sreen's image. Matsushita's TH-15DT2 TV retails for 260,000 yen ($37,142).
