Telios HC-AJ3, HC-VJ2C handheld computers

Article Abstract:

Sharp Corp has unveiled the Telios HC-AJ3 and the HC-VJ2C handheld computers that run on MS Windows PC 2000 operating system. The HC-AJ3 features an SVGA 8.4-in thin-film transistor LCD and an electronic book reader while the HC-VJ2C has 7.1-in wide-screen thin-film transistor LCD and a built-in digital camera. Both models come with the Internet Navigator, Mobile Map 2.0 and the Homepage Creator. They can also operate for 10 hours on batteries when not in the data transfer mode.

ELT5KT DC/DC choke coils

Article Abstract:

Matsushita Electronic Components has introduced the ELT5KT series of DC/DC choke coils featuring a thin drum core on the board for terminal electrodes. The coils have an inductance range from 3.3 to 100 microH and operating current from 20 to 125 mA. They feature an external resin ring with a Q value of 150% greater than metal rings for added strength. They also have terminal insert-formation board that enhances mounting quality and prevent disconnection.

DMX6655Z car audio systems

Article Abstract:

Clarion has unveiled the DMX6655Z car audio model with a 2-DIN audio- center unit amplifier. The DMX6655Z features a built-in AM/FM tuner, a CD player and a MiniDisc player. It is supported by the Clarion Entertainment Network, which is controllable by connecting it to a CD changer or an MD changer. There is also a returnable rotary volume knob and thumb remote controller, which is sold separately. The DMX6655Z has a retail price of 55,000 yen, or $514.
