Battery and blank media manufacturers are launching their new line of products at the International Consumer Electronics Show 2000. Saft will focus on its Again and Again brand as well as its Polaroid-branded camcorder batteries and accessories. Panasonic will highlight its high- powered alkaline batteries to meet the demand for high-drain digital electronics superior batteries. Other battery manufacturers at the show are TDK, Imation, Fui and Sandisk.

The Photo Marketing Assn show in Feb 2000, set for Las Vegas, NV, will feature a selection of batteries for digital cameras. Panasonic will highlight its line of Alkaline for Digital batteries while ToCAD America will showcase its Sunpak PicturesPlus NiMH battery kit. Other batteries expected to be exhibited at the show include Energizer's Advanced Formula, Saft's H4AAK, Duracell's Ultra and JBRO's Telepower XL NiMH.
