WebGate WebEye E10 camera servers

Article Abstract:

WebGate Inc has developed the WebEye E10 camera server that can transmit real-time images at 30 frames per second to 100 users simultaneously. The innovation is possible through the use of a 32-bit RISC CPU that runs an embedded Linux system. It also transmits sound in real time. Is digital image-compression chip utilizes the Wavelet algorithm which offers 30 to 300 % greater efficiency than JPEG schemes.
