iGT99263 camera module
Article Abstract:
Sanyo Electric Co Ltd has introduced its iGT99263 camera module that features a volume of 0.8 cc, and is offered in a chip-size package. The camera operates at 2.5V and uses 65mW at five frames per second. It has the LC99263FB 1/7-in frame transfer image sensor that contains 370 x 296 pixels. Also, it contains a CCD driver with a DC-DC converter circuit, a digital signal processor for analog-to-digital signal processing and other peripheral capabilities.

Home-use digital still camera handles multimedia operations
Article Abstract:
Sanyo Electric Company Ltd offers the DSC-V100 multimedia digital still camera. The product has become a popular consumer choice due to its high-tech applications for household use and the creation of home pages on the Internet, customized greeting cards and databases. Around 1.2 million digital still cameras were shipped in FY 1997, while two million units are projected for FY 1998 shipments.
