Several Cobra power inverters ranging in price from $90-$560 are reviewed. The models plug into a vehicle's cigarette lighter to modify a home-audio component to work in the car-stereo system. Tests include the use of a TV and a laptop with an audio CD in the computer's built-in CD-ROM drive.
