A ChE's guide to landing a great job

Article Abstract:

Job searching is similar to selling because it is both a science and an art. Chemical engineers desiring to actively manage their careers must focus on this important aspect of career management to obtain excellent positions. Job searching may be internal or external, and internal job searching may be voluntary or forced. Job searching chemical engineers, like sales people, must thoroughly know their product, namely themselves, in terms of strengths, benefits and advantages they will bring to prospective employers.
