Automation Simulation - Utilizing Computer Graphics in Industry

Article Abstract:

Two software packages have been developed for automated material- handling applications. AutoMod, a simulation programming language, has an English-like syntax and the package contains four volumes, each designed to handle different equipment types. AutoGram is an interactive simulation graphics system that interfaces with the AutoMod system. A diagram illustrating the four volumes of the AutoMod package is presented.
