A design of expert system architecture for communications engineering simulation

Article Abstract:

Simulation expert system architecture for communications simulation including the features of common data structure, top-down information driven technique, optimization, and expert system approach is addressed. The concepts can be combined to implement a very user-friendly simulation system for either a novice or experienced user. The architecture block diagram of the simulator is discussed to highlight the important functions. Complete or partial features addressed can be adopted in any simulator design. AMARL Awards Engineering Contract to Raytheon

Article Abstract:

Raytheon Service Company has signed a 1.3 million dollar with the Air Force to provide engineering services, materials, and facilities to the Aerospace Medical Research Laboratory's Dynamic Environment Simulator (DES). The DES is a man-rated centrifuge that simulates space flight environments. Viewing humans as weapons systems subsystems, the laboratory is interesting in predicting performance and exploring the effects of stress.
