A recipe for safe food: ISO 2200 and HACCP

Article Abstract:

Hazard analysis and critical control point and ISO 2200 are effective food safety management systems. The preliminary steps, seven principles and prerequisite programs of HACCP, as well as the general structure of ISO 2200, are discussed.

ISO to develop new food safety standard

Article Abstract:

International Organization for Standardization is writing a new Standard on food safety. The new standard is expected to be published by end of year 2005, and will bear the number 22000.
