ADC Telecom rides the backbone

ADC Telecommunications Inc. of Minneapolis, MN, achieved a 20% increase in its operating profits and sales to $52 million and a record $335 million, respectively, for the second quarter of 1998. ADC Telecommunications' excellent financial performance was attributed to the company's position as a leading communications infrastructure builder that offers small companies and household users with services such as telephone, high-speed data, online access and video services.
