Another meeting? At the right time and for the right reason?

Article Abstract:

Meetings are frustrating for some attendees since they do not accomplish their objectives most of the time. Participants look for a productive use of time which cannot be accomplished by just giving or receiving some type of information. Productivity begins when personal interaction between the individuals and the dynamics of give and take are achieved. Some of the most valid reasons for calling a meeting are problem solving and team building. Other reasons such as handing out reports, reading memos and sharing information on new rules and regulations are some of the time-wasting objectives to call meetings.

The perfect team

Article Abstract:

The perfect team is one where each team member is different and possesses a unique skills set, yet all team members have the ability and willingness to effectively communicate. When attempting to organize the perfect team, one should look for diversity in team members and in types of behavior to be able to achieve balance. Team members must have positive attitudes or a willingness to be a contributor to the team. Team leaders must also be prepared to treat each member differently.
