Article Abstract:

The introduction of the U.K.'s Climate Change Levy, a tax on electricity use, will result in higher power usage costs, but will also result in many companies look for more efficient ways to light their buildings. Electrical energy will be more expensive, but there should be tax incentives for those companies that invest in energy-efficient equipment.
