Bored with the same old standard books?

Article Abstract:

'Meet the Registrar: Firsthand Accounts of ISO 9000 Success from the Registration Source' differs from other standards books in presenting information about certification and registration of quality standards from the viewpoint of a registrar. The registrar shoulders the responsibility of judging and certifying a company's quality system, ensuring adherence to ISO 9000 standards, and ascertaining documentation of a fool-proof interface agreement. Several essential elements for adequate documentation of interface agreements for ensuring effective quality system are presented.

Success and failure: two sides of the same coin

Article Abstract:

Failure is an inevitable part of an organization's success. It should not be viewed as a hindrance to advancement, rather, it is part of the development process. Adopting a positive attitude in dealing with failure can be accomplished by holding team meetings and transforming ideas into action. Acceptance of the existing reality and expecting the worst that can happen may also alleviate the impact of defeat. Finally, suppressing the pain of failure is tantamount to ignoring its root causes. Choosing a group of people to examine the main causes of failure is more pragmatic.
