Chemapol, a petrochemical company based in Prague, Czech Republic, is planning to terminate several employees at its core holdings. The company also reported that it intends to get rid of its noncore operations. Chemapol President Vaclav Junek stated that the initial terminations are set to affect Chemapol's chemical manufacturing operations Synthesia, MCHZ, Technoplast, Fatra and Spolana Neratovice, which will all be combined into a single unit to help Chemapol save 5 million Kc ($$147 million).
