Develop a balanced monitoring and data management policy

Article Abstract:

Chemical process industries are caught in a dilemma between the compliance assurance monitoring (CAM) regulation and the any credible evidence (ACE) regulation revisions. CAM regulations require increased process and control equiopment monitoring, while ACE revisions discourage some of the very monitoring that the CAM rule requires. Techniques in developing a monitoring and data/records management policy that will allow a facility to monitor its processes as required are presented.
