International Resources Group Ltd, a Washington, DC-based company, has entered into a merger deal with Silver Spring, MD-based Alternative Energy Development Inc. The merger allows International Resources to capture a bigger share of the market for clean energy and global environmental services. International Resources provides technical advisory services in areas, such as energy and environment, while Alternative Energy specializes in global climate change and energy financing.

Teaming up to down bust

Article Abstract:

Martin Engineering of Neponset, IL, and Nalco Chemical Co of Naperville, IL, have formed a strategic alliance to provide dust-suppression technology for the handling of bulk materials in process plants, pulp and paper mills, steel mills, and power plants. Under the terms of the deal, Martin will develop and manufacture the equipment and take care of its installation and maintenance, while Nalco will formulate and supply dust- suppression chemicals.

Contractors to combine

Article Abstract:

Montgomery Watson Inc of Pasadena, CA, and Harza Engineering Co of Chicago, IL, have agreed to merge their operations. They will create a new company, named Montgomery Watson Harza, that will have 5,000 employees in 30 countries, and over $680 million in annual revenues. With the consolidation, the new firm will have Montgomery Watson's knowhow in water and wastewater, and Harza's expertise in the energy, water and infrastructure markets.
