European surfactant maker bought
Article Abstract:
Huntsman Corp will purchase the European surfactants business of Albright and Wilson from Rhodia SA, which acquired the latter in Mar 2000. The business manufactures, develops and markets a wide range of surfactants and surfactant intermediates used in consumer detergents, toiletries and personal care products. The sale includes seven manufacturing facilities in the UK, Italy, France and Spain.
