Article Abstract:

Grease deposits on the ductwork and the extract fan of extract ventilation systems pose a serious fire hazard. Inspecting the extract ductwork at least annually and cleaning the same can prevent the accumulation of grease deposits thereby reducing the risk of spreading fire.
