Goals + alignment + love = success

Article Abstract:

Setting and sharing goals can be a very valuable activity within the family environment. Each member of the family can set personal goals for the year ahead, while the family as a whole can choose a word of the year around which to focus its goals. Sharing goals with other members of the family ensures that individuals gain support for their personal growth, with the family working as a single unit for the success of each of its members. The goals approach also serves as a communications tool among members of the family.

Improving the quality of family life

Article Abstract:

The business concept of quality can be usefully applied to family life. Parents can motivate their children very successfully, but this requires having a basic understanding of the children's needs. It is important to encourage children to do things right the first time, to always do their best and to be aware that knowledge gives power. Within the family environment, quality can be improved by clearly defining expectations. Families should operate a system which does not allow any leeway for poor quality.

Maintaining focus within your organization

Article Abstract:

Every organization has a vision and different methods are used to achieve this vision. Some organisations adopt quality improvement as a means of achieving their visions. But this may not help in fulfilling promises made to customers and society. There are certain factors, such as employment involvement, overemphasis on training and quality awards, which are adopted by organisations to achieve their goals. But these have been found to do more harm than good.
