Hazmat response kit identifies airborne compounds

Sensidyne's Deluxe Hazmat Kit III offers a two-step approach to identifying unknown airborne compounds using dectector tubes. The first step utilizes two special multilayered quantitative tubes and a color chart to quickly identify more than 70 compounds. The second step incorporates an additional 13 detector tubes and a decision-tree-style logic chart to further qualify the first step results.

Rotating paddle provides failsafe reliability

Conveyor Components offers the CR Ultra, the latest in the company's rotating paddle level-control product line. The unit includes fail-to-safe electronics and was designed based on motion switch technology. The CR Ultra has an electronic circuit that monitors paddle rotation to detect motor failure, damaged motor clutch, bad output shaft bearings, or loss of paddle rotation.
