Help your career and the environment: companies can improve revenues through risk management

Article Abstract:

Quality has become largely institutionalized, and therefore no longer offers a competitive advantage for most companies, according to Darcy Hitchcock, a principal with Axis Performance Advisors in Portland, OR. Quality professionals are now looking for the next generation idea, allowing them to boost the competitive advantage of their organizations. Environmental sustainability will be the next competitive advantage, according to Marsha Willard, also a principal with Axis Performance Advisors. She believes that companies will derive their competitive advantage from being the first to offer a product or service that places less pressure on the earth's resources.
