The new technologies like Broadband, Bluetooth and Wi - Fi and its integration into the home systems and its implications for the electrical contractors are discussed.

The issue of disposal of gas discharge lamps, under new regulations such as Hazardous Waste Regulations in England and Wales, is presented. The implications of these regulations for electrical contractors are discussed.
