Hubble: les decouvertes fantastiques

Article Abstract:

The space telescope, Hubble, has made a significant contribution to the great amount of knowledge obtained about space in the 20th Century. Hubble was completed in 1986, after years of planning and construction, and being held up by budgetary restrictions, but was not used until 1990 because of the Challenger disaster. It now appears that the Universe is only 8-12 billion years old. Article text is in French.
