Improving health care's suppliers

Article Abstract:

The health care industry aims to promote lifestyle improvement programs for patients in a move which is synonymous with the manufacturing sector's supplier quality enhancement measures. However, the cooperation of third-party payers such as the government and the employers is critical for the success of the program. Employers are encouraged to provide on-site exercise facilities, implement health programs and discounts on health insurance. The government can establish new laws and educational programs that promote a healthy lifestyle.

Scientifically selecting suppliers

Article Abstract:

Inefficiency on a supplier's part can cause inconvenience and financial losses to the manufacturing customer. Manufacturers can raise the supplier's quality of service by monitoring and gauging their service quality against that of other suppliers. More competitive prices, better quality and improved delivery may result from the scientific evaluation and selection of suppliers. Quality standards may be measured against supplier ability in material design and control, purchasing and receiving.
