Intel Corp introduced 'Hermon', a 3rd generation cell phone system-on-chip for customized phones using Nokia's series 60. Hermon combines an XScale microprocessor, a flash memory, a camera interface, and a dual mode base band digital signal processor that can handle both wideband code division multiple access and GSM/GPRS modes.
