Article Abstract:

Leadership must undergo a profound shift as the world moves from the industrial to the information age. The integrated leadership model in the information age involves the orchestration of systemwide coordination and information and learning processing that a leader must execute to achieve continuing value. The value leadership model involves the conceptualization, creation and management of an organization that will provide superlative value in a competitive market or to knowledgeable and discerning customers.

The reverse appraisal: a tool for leadership development

Article Abstract:

Employees can provide the most reliable appraisal of managerial performance. However, reverse appraisals are not common in organizations. A study conducted in the early 1980s showed that only 8% of the 140 organizations surveyed used some form of reverse appraisals. When employees perceive that management makes a genuine attempt to recognize and solve problems by asking for their support, they are invariably generous and willing to help.
