Plastic contains explosion hazards

Article Abstract:

A technology that allows polymer to safely replace stainless steel in hazardous environments, achieving the necessary ATEX flame and explosion ratings is described. Parker Hannifin's engineers developed the plastic frame proof technology in which any ignition inside cannot be transmitted to any explosive atmosphere which might be outside.

Elevating 'A' frame doubles stiffness

Article Abstract:

The development of a machining centre with novel mechanical geometry is reported which is made possible as a result of the multi-objective optimization. The machine centre has doubled the stiffness, acceleration and the first eigen natural vibration frequency.
