The successful implementation of the Project Application Leveraging and Data Integration Program was aimed at enhancing the pilot company's return-on-net assets. Using 3D CAD, construction rework was reduced to 1.5% of total installed cost (TIC). Total TIC reductions of 25-30% on all projects were effected after the system introduction of a document- management. Project completion was also coducted at a rate which was 25% faster than the old baseline.

Article Abstract:

The GasAlertClip gas detectors from BW Technology are designed for long life with no maintenance required. The gas detectors are offered in the H2S, CO and O2 versions, which can be clipped to the lapel, pocket, belt or hard hat for portable warning of hazardous conditions. The H2S model senses from 0 to 100 ppm from -40 to +45 C; the CO model from 0 to 300 ppm between -30 to +45 C; and the O2 model from O to 30% at -20 to +45 C.
