Former NEC Corporation chairman, Tadahiro Sekimoto has won the 2004 Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Medal of Honors. The long and exhilarating journey of Tadahiro Sekimoto, from the local restaurant, operated by his parents in Kobe, Japan, to being the chairman of the Institute for International Socio-economic studies is described.
