Maximizing CEO performance

Article Abstract:

Monitoring and feedback is important for the performance of chief executive officers (CEOs). Because CEOs are often unaware about the effectiveness of their performance, there is a need for organizations to help CEOs in setting goals and expectations, receiving evaluations and being compensated in relation to performance. This is important because the success of organizations relies on their CEOs whose leadership must address needs such as human resources, financial results, strategic planning and communication.

The why and how of facilitative leadership

Article Abstract:

Organizations worldwide are beginning to appreciate the need for top management to adopt a new approach so that they may survive and flourish. Many are opting to adopt a more facilitative leadership approach rather than retaining traditional management methods. Facilitative leadership requires at least three elements to successfully work. These are clear structures and roles, sufficient skills and appropriate attitudes and, finally, support form the management team.
