Quality Progress' 15th annual quality software directory

Article Abstract:

A listing of quality software providers is presented. The directory provides icons opposite each company's name to show which industry the company's products cater to while the Xs represent the type of software packages being offered by each company. A total of 242 providers have been listed for 1998 compared to the 255 listed in 1997. The missing providers from 1997's list indicate the state of flux that the quality software industry is in. This situation is attributed to lack of financial backing, lack of quality, market saturation and lack of responsiveness to client's worries.
