Searching for a successful strategy?

Article Abstract:

Engineering and environmental services industries need to actively formulate strategies that will help them retain their competitive edge in the market. Despite the many changes constantly experienced by industries, most engineering firms have taken passive attitudes towards strategic planning. Corporate strategies may either focus on cost containment and quality assurance or providing distinctive services. Firms that fail to focus on either of these strategies usually spread themselves thin on varied, conflicting strategies which ultimately lead to financial losses.

Graduate education in the workplace

Thus, engineers must identify what graduate education might be useful in their career so that such an education can be integrated to their skills and knowledge while at work.
