Snowclone is the new cliche

Article Abstract:

Popular examples of cliches include "I'm not an an X, but i play one on TV" which came from a 1986 ad where an actor said "I'm not a doctor, but i play one on TV". Other cliches include "X is the new Y", "X and Y and Z, oh my!" and "I'm in ur X, Y-ing ur Z" where X, Y, and Z could represent a number of different things depending on the message.
